The above graffiti was painted by a high school student in Hannibal, MO.

For doing so, he and others were charged with vandalism, and eventually convicted. Their punishment is to correct their creativity and paint over art with a wonderful gray hue – to beautify the flood damaged factory apocalypse that is Warren-Barrett Drive.

To those that abhor culture, fear any evidence of life, and plot its destruction, I must quote Dr. Ian Malcolm.

“Life will find a way.”

Art is validated by its own forced destruction in the hands of those refuse its acknowledgment.

This must be trash!

This must be poor!

This must be criminal!

I just don’t understand the youth. Under what circumstances do they get off thinking human expression is respected in the face of LAW. BORING. ORDER.

The animal throws shit on his cage, and we make him clean it up.
