FROZEN RAILS KAST VI………………………………………57:28

EAT some FACE with

Tricky, Lady Gaga, and even Rivers Cuomo!

Suck in that boredom and eat some fucking face.

After finishing this set, I noticed it exists to highlight my satisfaction with This is Happening, a grand farewell to a career, not to mention, decade. Murphy and company have distilled the past decade of music into a state of sonic apprehension that only Ian Curtis could create. When the beats unfold between headphones, I hear the crushing realization of the world, old-age, and ultimately, disappointment. Imagine Eno-era Bowie after a weekend ambien binge.

“This is 2010,” he seems to say, in all it’s post-BHO dementia

And in 2010, I’ve come to embrace my love for Marilyn Manson. That is, as long as he continues to call himself Lady Gaga. It took a decade, but he finally shed all that Columbine baggage to follow through on the his mid-nineties promise.

Seriously, I’ve come around to her in a big way. And it took Telephone to do it. Its like Thriller, but with more scissoring. I’m such a softy for epic videos - and sandwiches. But also coherent pop music, of which she produces in spades.

And hits!

Does this mean Rivers need to release a hip-hop album? As far as I’m concerned, he has little to loose by doing so.
